To My Heavenly Father
Lord... this day would not be complete without my telling You how much I love You. Before I knew You, You were reaching out to my heart. I didn’t know and I pushed You away. Thank You Father for never giving up on me. Thank You for sending Your Son, that through His sacrifice Your grace has been bestowed upon me. You have loved me unconditionally, protected me, provided for me, corrected and chastised me. Your Holy Spirit has been transforming me on the inside, leading me, guiding me, straightening my crooked paths of unrighteousness. I love You for just being the way You are and for who You are.
Thank you for forgiving me when I trip up. You bless me with many opportunities to share my endless faith and love for You. I am grateful for all that You do, all that You are and for always being there. All glory and honor, praise and thanksgiving are given to You, my Heavenly Father. It is in the name of Your most glorious Son, Jesus Christ, that I send this prayer to you. Amen.

Lady_E...Thank you for reading and there by sharing in my most inner thoughts to the Lord. The only books I have read by Christian authors is the Left Behind series(Tim Lahaye and Jerry B.Jenkins). When I was first saved, I had no clue about the end times and Christ's second coming. Through those books and reading them side by side with the book of Revelation, I came to the knowledge and understanding of what is to come. I feel as though I don't spend as much time in God's Word as I should. Therefore I limit my "pleasure" reading allowing for more time to be studying His Word. Having only been saved for four years, I have alot of catching up to do. I'm loving every minute of it! If you have a special book or author you'd like to share with me, please feel free to do so. I'm currently incapacitated (broken leg). I feel the Lord has led me to HP to share my faith and the many testimonies I've experienced.
Hi, Sorry to hear about your leg. Hope you get better soon and do take it easy. There are a lot of authors out there but I like Derek Prince (he teaches the word). Joel Osteen (has an encouraging / humourous way of getting his messages across and The Copelands, particularly Gloria Copeland writes a lot of uplifting books. You don't have to buy them - you could listen on-line on their websites. Look forward to hearing your testimonies. Take Care :)
